We are social beings, drawn to shared experience with others and the prospect of forming deep relationships as we interact in this meaningful world. This is as it should be, since we reflect the life of a God who is social in very being—a tri-unity of persons. We are looking to encounter and refract that divine life as we practice compassion, learning, and the arts—all the while enjoying the community God forms in our midst.
A number of other happenings proceed out from, and return to, our core Wednesday event, for which you’ll find details below. Then explore the links above for our various pursuits of belonging, of knowledge, of beauty.
Wednesdays
Beginning again, September 2010
For all the variety of our encounters, the core of our life together takes place on Wednesday nights. We share a meal and conversation and extend that out into time for worship (naming the worth of God in song) and inquiry (teaching and dialogue about how God approaches us in the world and how we live in response). Everything else proceeds out from here, and returns to it.
