The House: Retreat! October 14th – 16th!
The theme of this years retreat is, ” rest, vocation and ministry” with our special guest speaker being Stella Griffin (newly returned from India). There will 3 speaking sessions (Friday evening, Saturday morning and evening). There will also be time on Saturday afternoon for a hike, some sports (or maybe even) some shopping (for those so inclined). It should be a great weekend spent with some great people, so please JOIN us!!!
Okay here’s the “nitty gritty”…
Date: Friday, October 14th to Sunday, October 16th. First session will start at 8pm Friday night, and we’ll return to Ottawa after lunch on Sunday.
Where: The Friendly Home ~ 5867 Côte St. Antoine Road, Montréal, QC (http://www.isaiah40foundation.org/friendlyhome.htm)
Cost: $60 (includes accommodation and food)
What you need to bring: sleeping bag/bedding/pillow, bible, notebook, snacks, toiletries, sports and/or music paraphernalia.
Accommodations: There is mix of available options (private rooms, communal). Priority for private rooms will be given to those married folk who may (or may not) have babies. Mattresses are provided.
Transportation: We need to arrange and coordinate transpiration SO if you’re able to drive please send me an email and let me know how many available seats you have!!! If you need a ride also let me know.
Food: We will be providing the meals, but will need help in the preparation/clean-up. If you’re willing to help cook or have ideas for meals please email me. Also, if you have any FOOD ALLERGIES please let me know. I don’t want any hospital trips…
